Sr. Epic Application Analyst (JN‑062026‑424016) Atwater, CA
Salary: USD
43.36 - USD
50.7 per hour
- Pay Range: $43.36 – $50.70 per hour
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Location: Atwater, CA
We are seeking a Senior Epic Application Analyst to lead the design, build, implementation, and ongoing support of Epic applications. This role serves as a key liaison between clinical, operational, and IT teams, ensuring that our Health IT systems effectively support patient care and organizational goals.
You will also provide leadership and mentorship to junior analysts while managing complex projects and ensuring the successful delivery of Epic-related initiatives.
What You’ll Do- Serve as the primary support contact for assigned Epic applications and end users
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Epic and other Health IT applications
- Lead application design, build, testing, implementation, and optimization efforts
- Manage and resolve support tickets with urgency, including escalation when needed
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and cross‑functional communication
- Lead Epic work groups and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
- Mentor and guide Epic Application Analyst I & II team members
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and training programs
- Provide go‑live support and issue resolution during implementations
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security standards, and regulations
- Maintain required Epic certifications and ongoing training
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis skills
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple high‑priority projects simultaneously
- Strong collaboration skills across diverse teams and backgrounds
- 6+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) strongly preferred
- Epic certification required within 3 months of hire (and must be maintained)
- Healthcare or clinical systems experience is a plus
