Azure Enterprise Solutions Architect

Location: 100% Remote

We’re looking for a skilled Azure Enterprise Solution Architect to lead strategic consulting initiatives across multiple clients. This individual will focus on Azure-based infrastructure, large-scale AI deployments, modern data solutions, and enterprise integrations. This role blends high-level architectural planning with hands-on delivery, emphasizing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. A critical aspect of this position involves guiding clients in the adoption of Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, and robust HA/DR capabilities to support essential systems.

Strategic Architecture & Engagement Leadership

• Drive architecture strategy and governance across engagements centered on Microsoft Azure, emphasizing AI integration, modernization of data ecosystems, and enterprise-wide connectivity.
• Spearhead the development of intelligent, automated solutions using Azure OpenAI and Copilot technologies.
• Partner with client stakeholders to align architectural solutions with business objectives, technical constraints, and regulatory needs.

Infrastructure Architecture & Continuity Planning

• Engineer high-performance, secure, and scalable Azure environments within diverse, multi-tenant client setups.
• Define and implement comprehensive DR and HA frameworks using Azure tools like Site Recovery, Backup, and cross-region failover strategies.
• Utilize native Azure resilience services including Availability Zones, Load Balancers, Traffic Manager, and VM Scale Sets.

Automation & System Optimization

• Employ Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep, ARM, and Terraform, along with scripting via Power Shell, to streamline infrastructure provisioning and operations.
• Monitor and fine-tune systems using Azure-native tools like Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Lead development of cross-platform workflows and integration APIs.
• Manage APIM, transformation logic, and integration frameworks.

Security & Governance

• Apply best-in-class security frameworks, including RBAC, NSGs, Azure Policy, and Defender for Cloud to enforce compliance and protect enterprise environments.
• Promote governance across identity management, access controls, data security, and platform-level configurations.

Required Experience & Skills

Technical Proficiency

• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure’s core services including compute, storage, networking, identity, and hybrid configurations.
• Strong background in designing resilient architectures using enterprise-grade HA/DR strategies.
• Practical expertise in integrating AI solutions like Azure OpenAI and Microsoft Copilot into production environments.
• Proficient in Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks, alongside enterprise integration and API solutions.

Certifications (Required)

Must hold at least one foundational and one architect-level certification:

• AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect Expert
