Position: Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant

Automation Tester (Tester III – Software Testing)

UST is searching for an Automation Tester who will design, develop, and own the end-to-end manual and automated tests for assigned releases.

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain automation suites using Selenium (Java)/Playwright (Typescript), Appium and REST API frameworks
  • Lead and coordinate testing activities for modules, owning quality gates and exit criteria
  • Drive in‑sprint Agile testing and represent QE in sprint planning, estimation, and risk discussions
  • Actively validate user stories within sprint, ensuring early detection
  • Contribute to automation stability, optimization, and best practices
  • Use AI assisted testing solutions to accelerate the testing tasks (test generation, smart test selection, failure insights, self‑healing concepts)
  • Define and optimize functional, regression and E2E execution strategies leveraging shared frameworks and cloud platforms
What You Need (Qualifications)
  • Automation:
    Selenium / Playwright, REST API – Hands‑on: 3‑5 years E2E digital flow testing and automation across apps (Mobile, Web, bots). Understanding of validation checks (auth, payments, order flow)
  • Programming Language:
    Java / C# / Python / Typescript – Strong;
    Hands‑on: 2‑4 years
  • Hands‑on: 2‑4 years knowledge of customer journey flows, middleware interactions, and backend integrations
  • SQL knowledge – Intermediate: 2‑3 years
  • Mobile automation:
    Appium – Intermediate: 2‑3 years
  • Gitlab, CI/CD tools – Intermediate: 2‑3 years
  • Test Grid / Tosca automation – Intermediate: 2‑3 years
  • Manual Testing – Expert: 2‑4 years; SQL knowledge for transaction and user flow data
  • Test Management tools: JIRA, Qtest – Expert: 2‑4 years
  • Analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Role Location

Hybrid – Kansas

Compensation Range

$59,000 – $89,000 per year

Benefits

Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
