This position will interface with key stakeholders and lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions across both persistent and non‑persistent environments, supporting On‑Premises and Citrix Cloud deployments. • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Wichita (KS) or be willing to relocate.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
• May involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). Eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens only.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience with Citrix CVAD, Citrix Cloud, and Citrix Gateway.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows OS internals.
• Experience with Power Shell scripting.
• Experience in Ivanti Application Control and Environment Manager is preferred.

• Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to ensure end‑to‑end solution integrity.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in EUC and virtualization.
• Familiarity with HP Thin Client management is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Migrate users to VDI environments.
• VDI lifecycle management – updates, upgrades, patching.
• Ability to work independently, within general guidelines or best practices, and manage complex technical solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face‑to‑face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
