The Technical Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Wichita, KS, responsible for guiding technical delivery across projects and ensuring high-quality solutions. This role involves leading engineering teams, defining technical standards, reviewing architecture and design, and overseeing implementation for application development, cloud infrastructure, data, and AI-related initiatives. The Technical Lead collaborates closely with product owners, project managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.

Daily responsibilities include hands-on development and code reviews, troubleshooting complex issues, mentoring team members, and promoting best practices in Dev Ops, testing, and documentation. The role also includes contributing to technology roadmaps, evaluating tools and platforms, and supporting continuous improvement of development processes and delivery models.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in software engineering and application development (e.g., experience with modern programming languages, frameworks, and APIs, along with object-oriented and modular design).
• Candidates should possess architecture and design capabilities (e.g., solution and platform architecture, cloud-native design, scalability and security considerations, and technology roadmap planning).
• Candidates should possess Dev Ops and infrastructure skills (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, automation scripts, containerization, and deployment strategies).
• Candidates should possess competencies in support and operations (e.g., production monitoring, incident management, runbook creation, performance tuning, and SLA-driven service management).
• Candidates should possess data and analytics knowledge (e.g., data modeling, ETL or ELT processes, reporting and dashboarding, and basic analytics or BI tools).
• Candidates should possess familiarity with AI enablement and modern software practices (e.g., integration of AI tools or services, workflow automation, and an understanding of enterprise AI readiness considerations).
• Candidates should possess leadership and communication skills (e.g., team mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder communication, requirement analysis, and clear technical documentation).
