This role is at Spirit Aero Systems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units(“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Responsibilities Position ResponsibilitiesInformation Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S). Spirit Commercial’s IDT&S organization provides technology solutions that connect people, data, applications, and manufacturing operations. Interns may support one or more teams working in software, systems analysis, infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital products, data analytics, or technology project management while learning how enterprise technology supports a complex aerospace manufacturing environment.
Potential internship assignments may include:- Software and application support
- Systems, network, or infrastructure support
- Cybersecurity and information protection
- Data analytics, reporting, and digital product support
These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Wichita, KS.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Currently enrolled in a four‑year undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Ability to work full‑time during Summer 2027
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing
- Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
- Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
- Majoring in one of the following:
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields - The ability to relocate and work onsite
