The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with operational execution while supporting a growing, multi-location insurance brokerage environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring employees receive timely and effective technology support.
- Oversee IT support processes, including ticket management, issue prioritization, escalation procedures, and service delivery standards.
- Manage the administration, maintenance, and performance of company hardware, software, networks, and business applications.
- Coordinate system implementations, upgrades, and technology projects in partnership with organizational leadership and vendors.
- Serve as a point of contact for managed service providers (MSPs), telecommunications vendors, and other technology partners.
- Ensure technology systems are properly documented and that standard operating procedures are maintained to support business continuity.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, acquisitions, and office transitions by coordinating technology resources, equipment, and user access.
- Monitor system performance, identify opportunities for process improvement, and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to support cybersecurity initiatives, technology compliance requirements, and organizational technology standards.
- Supervise the Systems Specialist, providing operational guidance for day-to-day IT functions while partnering with and reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
