How

you'll make an impact

Responsible for Acquiring New Aircraft Insurance Customers by quoting, selling, writing, and serving personal aircraft insurance for aircraft owners in a fast paced, high volume insurance brokerage. This position requires independent judgement and discretion. Primary focus is meeting and exceeding new business goals for the agency, in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

  • Must interact with underwriters at multiple insurance companies by phone and email to obtain insurance quotes and issue renewal policies.
  • Outbound efforts include contacting customers to gather additional information, responding to internet requests for quotes, and following up on quoted customers.
  • Outbound efforts also include closing new sales via outbound telemarketing to lists of target prospects.
  • Explain insurance coverages and offer insurance advice to prospective and existing customers.
  • Maintains records according to Agency standards, ensures that procedures are properly followed and that information is properly documented and readily accessible.
  • Assists in the development of strong personal relationships with insurance carrier personnel.
  • Responsible for meeting individual and team monthly sales and quality goals while working in a team environment.
  • Dedicates time to personal professional and job competency development.
  • Completes continuing education requirements to maintain required Property/Casualty insurance license.
About You

Required: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience
-OR
- High School degree/GED with 8+ years client service and/or claims management experience. Producer's License. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Appropriate licensing as required.

Preferred: Previous Aviation or Aerospace experience a plus. Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships. Solid financial acumen.

Behaviors: Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortably engages others in consultative discussion. Effectively manages/balances multiple and sometimes competing priorities. Works in a self‑directed manner.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
