Role SummaryAs a Service Parts Specialist, you will support critical aviation operations by ensuring the accurate handling, tracking, and distribution of parts and materials. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining fleet readiness, meeting delivery schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and inspect incoming parts for physical damage and accuracy
- Maintain inventory by stocking supplies, monitoring levels, and performing routine checks
- Reorder materials, tools, and equipment based on production needs and delivery schedules
- Assist with cycle counts, work-in-progress tracking, and inventory audits
- Package and prepare shipments in compliance with priority handling, hazardous material regulations, and import/export requirements
- Salvage and coordinate recertification of materials, tools, and ground support equipment (GSE)
- Operate forklifts, carts, and company vehicles to transport materials across work areas
- Gather and record data to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability
- Work in environments that may include non-climate-controlled areas and seasonal outdoor conditions
- Ability to gather, interpret, and record inventory data accurately
- Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory tracking and data entry
- Valid Kansas Class C Driver’s License
- Ability to operate powered vehicles such as forklifts and electric carts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance standards
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including hangars and outdoor areas
- Basic knowledge of FAA regulations
, including Airworthiness Approval Tags (e.g., FAA Form 8130-3) - Familiarity with hazardous materials handling, shipping, and compliance requirements
- Understanding of inventory systems, production processes, and repair station workflows
- Experience in aviation, manufacturing, or logistics environments
- Knowledge of aftermarket support processes such as warranty, exchange, and parts programs
- Job Title: Service Parts Specialist (Consultant, 3 Months+)
- Location: Wichita, KS
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Pay Rate: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
- Job Type: Full‑Time
