• Pay Range: $25 - $27 per hour with three scheduled increases in the first year

Responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing materials, equipment, and services essential to production and operations. Promotes and utilizes standard safety practices.

• Actively source approved suppliers for the most economical purchase
• Obtain and review quotes with manager to down select approved suppliers based on quality, cost and delivery. Provides selection to the estimating dept.
• Creates purchase orders for raw materials, hardware, outside processing, sealants and paints, etc based on spec callout and revisions
• Manages purchase orders from start to finish. This includes expediting orders as needed, resolving accounting issues, monitoring delivery dates and working with the supplier for recovery dates when needed, resolving and/or communicating quality issues with the supplier. Ensure that purchase orders are received in and are delivered to the correct department
• Supports Production Control by providing updates on past due orders, getting recovery dates, and expediting orders.
• Supports estimating with quotes, lead times, pricing, etc.
• Responsible for supplier relationships; main point of contact
• Keeps Purchasing leadership informed of changes within the supply chain on raw materials, market conditions, lead times, availability, closures, shortages, disruptions, outside processing, etc.
• Responsible for reporting NCRs to the supplier ponsible for handling Corrective Actions, requests for credits/returns/rework

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of purchasing experience
