IT Project Manager
Plan, execute, and finalize assigned projects according to project timeline and budget. Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine project scope and deliverables that support business goals. Acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members and vendors to deliver projects according to plan. Assist PMO Manager in revising and developing department processes and best practices.
Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesWork with the stakeholders and project teams to ensure projects stay on schedule. Work with team members to ensure project related tasks are completed in an effective and timely fashion. Facilitate change control as needed. Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine project scope and deliverables that support business goals. Create and maintain thorough project documentation and project transition materials.
Provide project tracking and status reporting to all stakeholders. Modify and adapt schedules and plans as required. Assist in creation of recurring executive reporting materials.
Assist PMO Manager in development of departmental procedures. Identify and maintain project data reporting mechanisms and standards. Serve as backup administrator to CUA project management software.
Perform other duties as assigned. Employees shall be trained annually, demonstrate an understanding of, and follow the requirements of the BSA/AML Compliance Program as it specifically relates to their job functions.
Collaborate and build good working relationships with vendors and business units. Facilitate cordial, productive communication between project management, business units, and vendors. Act as advocate for CUA throughout projects.
Knowledge and Skills- Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
- Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree). PMP Certification preferred.

Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; ability to become proficient with project planning software
- Knowledge of CU functions & departments, and interactions between primary systems, vendors, and software.
- Able to diagram and analyze work flows and processes.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
- Language
Skills:
Able to read, analyze, and interpret common technical resources. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. - Banking and/or Credit Union experience a plus. PMP Certification and/or Agile experience a plus.
