• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, organizing, directing, and application engineering for assigned projects.
• Ensure projects are effectively executed to budgeted cost and time schedules.
• Ensure positive cash flow on all assigned projects.
• Act as key interface with the customer and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Identify potential project risks and assist in developing and implementing strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and deadlines.
• Utilize financial systems to review actual vs. estimated job cost and to provide timely and accurate project cost reports.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

• Basic project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).
• Developing project financial skills.
• Leadership orientation—actively seeks ways to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the organization.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Education:

College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience (not required):

• 3–5 years of engineering, field service or project management
• Experience in one or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare
• Previous supervisory experience
