Material Handler

Job opening for a Material Handler in our machine shop. This is a full‑time, first‑shift position (We close at 4:30). We offer a 401(k) and paid health insurance for the employee and the possibility of overtime.

Experience preferred but we are willing to train the right person.

• Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Locating materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintaining production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished products.
• Maintaining in‑process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Documenting materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units as well as helping with shipping and receiving.

• Must be able to move and position objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and over on a regular basis.
• Be able to operate a forklift.
• Follow safe operating and lifting procedures.
• Wear safety glasses and steel‑toed shoes.
• You must be at least 18 years old and must be able to pass a drug screen.
