Stock clerk primarily receives, unpacks, stores, distributes, records, and tracks inventory for materials and products used by the organization.
EXPERIENCE- 1-3 years’ experience with inventory management systems preferred but will train on our system
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computer and math skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
- Sitting or standing for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Upon receipt of goods in stockroom, unpack and place into correct storing location by checking ERP system.
- Organize hardware and mark as necessary to place into correct storing location
- Run reports from ERP system to ensure work orders are being pulled and issued to the assembly floor.
- Count appropriate hardware, issue to work orders, adjust ERP system and take to next operation.
- Recommend items needing to be replenished to Purchasing Manager
- Keep inventory accurate by performing inventory cycle counts and compare to ERP system
