Elevator Operator; Day Shift

Position Overview

Ardent Mills is recruiting for a Full‑Time Production Associate – Elevator Operator to join our production team in Wichita, KS. The role involves operating and maintaining elevators in our grain handling plant while ensuring food‑safety compliance and supporting continuous production flow.

• Operate and maintain elevators or lifts used to transport grains and ingredients within the plant.
• Perform sanitation duties to maintain food‑safety requirements and compliance.
• Support smooth material movement to downstream manufacturing processes.
• Assist with loading and unloading, and help maintain equipment in optimal condition.
• Participate in safety briefings and enforce safe work practices.

• Utility Operator – maintain utility systems and equipment while ensuring sanitation.
• Bulk Operator – load bulk deliver vessels and perform sanitation duties.
• Warehouse Operator – manage receiving, storage, forklift operation, and distribution of raw and finished materials.
• Pack Operator – operate packing equipment, process and package products, and meet sanitation requirements.

Competitive base pay ranging from $21–$23 per hour plus a 5% annual performance bonus. Benefits include:

• Must be able to ascend and descend stairs multiple times per day, climb ladders, step and extension rigs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and exert 20 lbs. of force.
• Frequent standing, walking, rotating, bending, twisting, crouching, kneeling, and reaching.
• Work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise; use of PPE required.
• Work in elevated areas (4 feet and above); clean shaven required for respirator sealing.
