Pay Rate: From $50.00/hour plus $700.00 weekly Per Diem - $500.00 Travel bonus
About the RoleSaxon is hiring a Composite Repair Technician for an exciting contract opportunity! Join our team to fabricate, assemble, and repair complex composite components, with a focus on the Boeing 787 Dream liner. This position is ideal for experienced technicians who thrive in a fast-paced aerospace environment and can work independently or as part of a team.
Required Qualifications- Minimum 6 months within the last 24 months (recent recency required)
- Structural composite repair experience (not fabrication-only)
- Experience working from SRMs and engineered repair schemes
- Ability to work independently in a production environment
- Taper sanding (20:1 / 30:1 ratios)
- Multi-layer carbon fiber structural repairs
- Hot bonder and cure cycle experience
- Spirit Aero Systems or Boeing supplier background
