General Production Team Member
Responsible for operating hand tools, knives, machinery, and other equipment to process meat products. Must maintain safety, quality, and teamwork standards.
What You’ll Do- Operate hand tools, knives, machinery, and other equipment to process meat products.
- Perform tasks requiring continuous or repetitive movement, including grasping, pinching, and manipulating hands and arms.
- Stand on concrete or platforms for up to a 12‑hour shift.
- Work around animal blood, carcass parts, and in cold (20‑40°F) or hot (>100°F) environments.
- Use personal protective equipment such as hard hats, eye/ear protection, and steel‑toed safety shoes.
- Work in wet, humid, noisy conditions while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.
- Operate equipment as required; certification may be needed for certain machines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and work in a highly repetitive, hand‑eye coordination tasking environment.
- Physical ability to stand for up to 12 hours, walk long distances, climb ladders, and lift objects up to 60 lbs (or use mechanical assistance).
- Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including overtime if required.
- Compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Must be able to work continuous repetitive movement, grasping, pinching, flexing, and extending arms.
- Must stand on concrete or platforms for up to a 12‑hour shift.
- Must work around animal blood and carcass parts, in cold (20‑40°F) and hot (>100°F) environments.
- Must wear hard hat, hearing/eye protection, steel‑toed safety shoes; work in noisy environments.
- Must work with sanitation/cleaning chemicals and tolerate strong smells or odors.
- Must climb/move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways, and platforms.
- May be required to lift up to 30 lbs overhead repetitively or single lift up to 60 lbs.
- May require certification to operate certain equipment.
