3P Processing is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Technician to support our aerospace manufacturing operations. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace by assisting with hazardous waste management, water treatment systems, chemical inventory, paint booth maintenance, safety inspections, and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do- Maintain water treatment equipment, pumps, valves, and filtration systems.
- Monitor and maintain production chemical tanks and chemical inventories.
- Perform routine testing of water quality and chemical concentrations.
- Maintain paint booths according to manufacturer specifications.
- Package, label, store, and transport hazardous waste in accordance with EPA and RCRA regulations.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly environmental and safety inspections.
- Assist with OSHA, EPA, and environmental compliance initiatives.
- Maintain accurate safety, environmental, and hazardous waste records.
- Identify potential workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Support incident investigations and corrective action efforts.
- Assist with employee safety training and PPE compliance.
- Work closely with production teams to promote a safe work environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, environmental, safety, maintenance, or industrial experience preferred.
- Experience with hazardous waste handling or chemical management is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, or RCRA regulations is preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Ability to pass a respirator physical and wear required PPE, including respirators.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, climb, and work around industrial equipment throughout the shift.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
- Ability to work around chemicals, dust, fumes, heat, and noise while following all safety requirements.
