Blast Operator - 2nd Shift

Valence Surface Technologies is a full-service surface finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space and satellite industries. With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start to finish solution from NDT and chemical processing, to paint and sub-assembly.

The blast position will use high pressure equipment to clean and prepare parts for processing.

• Determine priority of jobs to begin prep aring for processing
• Select appropriate media according to specifications and customer requirements
• Complete paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines
• Ensure proper PPE is worn and safety gui delines are followed
• Maintain a clean wo rking area at all times by disposing of any unnecessary trash
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
