Responsibilities
- Perform process activities including painting, metal etching, metal polishing of aircraft details, heat treating, engraving, shot peening, sand blasting, wire assembling/fabrication, decal/metalcals and metal processing to support production requirements.
- Qualified to set up and test electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic assemblies and components.
- Spray and brush priming.
- Perform hand finishing operations, such as blending multiple adjacent MDD surfaces into engineering tolerances and/or performing transition work to bring detail parts in accordance with engineering tolerances.
- 5+ years of Topcoat Caliber experience.
- Must be able to stand and work for entire 8‑hour shift.
- Must be ready to work any shift, overtime, weekends as needed; selected workers will work 2nd shift primarily.
- Must start within 2 weeks after offer acceptance.
- Must clear background checks and complete Boeing re‑hire checks if former Boeing worker.
