Description
JOB SUMMARY:
To provide the next operation with a quality product by sanding to tolerance
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Working from work orders, specifications, procedures, and detailed instructions to sand basic parts
* Operates pneumatic and hand sanding tools to prepare basic furniture parts at the raw stage, or prior to build coat /topcoat processes
* Maintains close mental and visual attention to meet tolerance of finish per process
* Responsible for own work
* Performs other related duties as required
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
* Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level Work Keys certification, and Textron Aviation's blueprint reading class preferred
EXPERIENCE:
* 6 months of sanding experience
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust, noise, heat, fumes and liquids Safety
shoes and protective clothing could be required
