Aircraft Composite Mechanic; DOD Secret Clearance Required

Aircraft Composite Assembly Mechanic

Candidates must already have an active secret clearance. This position is located in Wichita, KS.

Description:

• While working on-site in Wichita, KS, perform composite fabrication for the production of the U.S. military's newest stealth bomber
• Complete composite layup, vacuum bagging, sanding, and cutting, primarily focused around fiberglass material
• Utilize various composite fabrication techniques, autoclave, and bagging materials to complete production
• Self-inspect components, performing rework when necessary
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

• Active secret clearance through the U.S. Government
• 2+ years of composite layup/fabrication experience
• Tools are NOT required

Pay:

• $45/hr
• Per diem is available for those who qualify

Work Schedule:

• Must be flexible on shift (primarily 1st and 2nd shift)
• Must be open to OT, including some mandatory Saturdays

Placement:

• 12+ month contract, with strong potential for extension (option to convert to direct hire)

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
