Team Lead - Cabinet Doors

We are looking for a motivated and engaged team member to join our growing organization. The Team Lead is a working role responsible for leading, coordinating, and supporting production team members involved in cabinet door manufacturing. This role ensures daily production goals are met while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and teamwork. The Team Lead serves as the first point of contact for team members on the production floor and works closely with supervision and other departments to maintain smooth production flow.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Promote and enforce all safety policies, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements
• Lead and support a production team in daily cabinet door manufacturing operations
• Ensure team members follow work orders, production schedules, and standard operating procedures
• Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency to meet or exceed production goals
• Assign tasks, balance workloads, and adjust priorities as needed
• Train, coach, and mentor team members on job tasks, safety practices, and quality expectations
• Serve as the first level of problem‑solving for production, quality, and personnel issues
• Conduct routine quality checks to ensure cabinet doors meet specifications and standards
• Communicate production status, material needs, and issues to supervisors and management
• Assist with machine operation, setup, and troubleshooting as needed
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
• Participate in performance feedback and attendance tracking as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Strong leadership and team‑building skills
• Ability to motivate and coach team members in a production environment
• Solid understanding of cabinet door manufacturing processes and materials
• Ability to read work orders, measurements, and basic drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to read basic measurements and use measuring tools
• Solid mathematical and basic computer skills
• Dependable, accountable, and safety‑focused

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in manufacturing required
• Prior lead, team leader, or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in cabinet, door, or woodworking manufacturing strongly preferred
• Basic computer skills for production tracking or reporting an advantage

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move through the production area for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs occasionally
• Repetitive hand, arm, and wrist movements
• Exposure to noise, dust, and typical manufacturing conditions
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
