Production Lead - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Work with hand tools, knives, machinery and other equipment to process meat products for the consumer.
• Support the management team by understanding the full operations of the line and by training and developing production employees.
• Maintain a safe and efficient production line to ensure products reach families across America.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

• Stand on concrete and/or platforms for up to a 12‑hour shift.
• Work around animal blood and/or carcass parts.
• Work with a knife (if trained) and in cold areas (approximately 20‑40°F) and/or warm areas (over 100°F).
• Work in a wet, humid, and noisy environment while wearing PPE.
• Work with sanitation/cleaning chemicals and around strong smells/odors.
• Climb/move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways and platforms.
• Bend, stoop, and twist repetitively over the course of an entire shift.
• Walk long distances.
• Lift up to 30lbs overhead and up to 60lbs using mechanical assistance if required.
• Work overtime depending on production demands.

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Willingness and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform continuous/repetitive tasks (grasping, pinching hands, flexing, and extending arms).
• Ability to stand, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, twist, walk, and lift as described.
• Must be able to work scheduled shift, including overtime if required.
• Possession of necessary certifications to operate specific equipment may be required.

• Hourly Competitive Starting Pay – $21.60 per hour with $0.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift.
