1st Shift, Monday - Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm
Job Duties- Run various equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and shipping a quality product to the customer.
- Operate sheet fed, digital presses, bindery equipment, and other processing equipment, and handle shipping/packing tasks.
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality of orders produced while working in a team to achieve daily goals.
- Set up presses including identifying and loading correct stock, setting paper path and stretch, mounting plates, die registration, adjusting ink and water levels, ensuring accurate single‑color register, and installing attribute functions (perforations, numbers, file holes, thermo unit, etc.).
- Determine and understand all order instructions and run the press productively while meeting job requirements of ink density, ink and water balance, color matching, and required attributes at a quality level that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and adjust equipment, including blanket changes, wash‑up units, cleaning water systems, and roller settings as required.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance and cleaning to ensure a quality product to the customer.
- Understand all press controls and demonstrate their use.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- HS/GED with 1 year of printing experience with similar equipment.
- Familiarity with product, equipment, printing process, and ink usage.
- Mechanical ability to operate and maintain press equipment.
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
