1 st Shift:Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM & Friday 6AM-10AM
Job Description:The Aerospace Layup Technician will be responsible for performing layup of composite materials on aircraft parts and assemblies. The technician will work with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure that all parts are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:- Perform layup of composite materials on aircraft parts and assemblies
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Prepare molds and tooling for layup
- Operate and maintain layup equipment and tools
- Perform quality checks on finished parts and assemblies
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with composite layup in an aerospace manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience with composite tooling and molds
- Ability to operate and maintain layup equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
