This position is in our specialized portfolio enterprise where we serve diverse businesses who support unique customers or markets, including animal nutrition and health, bioindustrial, road safety salt and Cargill joint ventures.
** Job Purpose and Impact*
* The Senior Production Scheduler will plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules and direct material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of goods and materials to meet production requirements. In this role, you will conduct production planning and execution, customer and client interaction, business partnership, systems and data management and reporting and analysis.
** Key Accountabilities*
* + Create and publish daily production plans.
+ Expedite workflow and coordinate changes in schedules.
+ Directly contribute to production scheduling metrics targets.
+ Provide necessary input to supply planner for assigned product or location.
+ Maintain data relevant to production scheduling activities including planning calendars, material data and location data.
+ Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

* ** Minimum Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
+ Minimum of four years of related work experience
** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Six years of experience with at least three in master production planning, production scheduling or supply planning

- Location:
This position can be located in one of the follow cities:
Buckeye, AZ, Chandler, AZ, Chicago, IL, Wichita, KS, Wayzata, MN; Relocation assistance is not provided for this role
- Schedule is Monday - Friday. There are also some events that might need to work outside of normal business hours
- The business will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position
- Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
- The expected salary for this position is $87,000-$110,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award.
The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
