Sheet metal Deburr

Salary Range $17.00 - $19.00 Hourly Category Manufacturing

Responsible for the deburring and trimming of sheet metal aluminum parts per customers engineering drawings and specifications.

• Perform visual inspection of manufactured parts and traveler
• Confirm material specifications as given on traveler
• Verify accuracy of job and workmanship when performing jobs
• Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
• Maintain specifications by troubleshooting processes and detecting malfunctions
• Verify profile, pilot holes and cutouts are clean of scratches and burrs
• Operate assigned hand tools such as die grinders to ensure accuracy of parts
• Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for all new and different requests
• Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Experience:

• Minimum two years experience in deburr, scribe and/or trim in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read blueprints and decipher drawings

Requirements:

• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work overtime when needed
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Proficient in blue print reading
• Knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring tools, such as calipers, height gages and radius gage sets
• Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Detail oriented
