- Configure and operate electrically powered presses to cut, shape, and form metal, plastic, or other materials used in manufacturing operations.
- Perform operations such as blanking, bending, punching, and forming based on blueprints and other instructions.
- Configure equipment and calibrates gauge settings as needed and monitor condition of dies.
- Load raw materials onto equipment, feed material through die, position and remove parts from the die as needed.
- Monitor work schedule to ascertain production information, such as size, type, and quantity to be processed.
- Keep a record of operational data and perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Inspect parts for potential quality issues.
The following is the experience that a candidate must have to be successful:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with operating machines and handling parts
- Knowledge or ability to learn production procedures (knowledge of press machines a plus)
- Ability to on occasion lift and carry heavy products
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Ability to read measuring equipment (e.g. calipers, micrometers)
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina and strength
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
- Flexibility is key - this individual may work in a variety of roles and be cross trained

** 1 opening** - Weekend Days (Fri/Sat/Sun): 6am-6pm
- Weekend Nights (Fri/Sat/Sun): 6pm-6am
