About The Job
The Groninger Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of Groninger automated filling, stoppering, capping, and packaging equipment used in aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing. This role supports the production of sterile compounded medications within an FDA-regulated 503B Outsourcing Facility and ensures all manufacturing activities comply with cGMP, company procedures, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and set up Groninger filling and packaging equipment.
- Perform changeovers, adjustments, and line clearances.
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Maintain GMP-compliant documentation and records.
- Support validations, investigations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Validation, and Engineering teams.
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
- 2–5 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing or maintenance experience.
- Experience with Groninger equipment strongly preferred.
- Experience in sterile, aseptic, or injectable manufacturing environments preferred.
- Knowledge of automated filling and packaging systems.
- Understanding of cGMP requirements and aseptic manufacturing.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to wear cleanroom gowning and PPE.
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing and cleanroom environments.
- May require overtime, weekends, or on-call support.
