Description
The Production Records Clerk is responsible for electronically building and maintaining accurate inventory items within the production departments s role ensures all electronic production records align with quality, cost, delivery, and service (QCDS) standards in coordination with the Fabrication Manager.
Accuracy in this role directly impacts scheduling, inventory integrity, job costing, and customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:- Abide by the company’s Quality Management System
- Prioritize customer satisfaction and maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Protect the company’s assets, reputation, goodwill, and marketplace stature at all costs
This position will perform the below listed duties consistently, accurately, timely, safely, and at the lowest feasible cost:
- Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure all Team Members understand that customer satisfaction is our first priority and the importance of statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Protect the Company’s assets, reputation, goodwill, and stature in the marketplace at all costs.
- Practice and promote 5S principles daily.
- Deliver fabricated parts to the correct cell.
- Electronically build appropriate inventory items in a timely and accurate manner.
- Fulfill electronic entry requirements as required by the XLT Production Calendar daily.
- Fulfill electronic entry requirements as required by the XLT Production Schedule daily.
- Partner with leaders to ensure work orders and inventory transactions reflect real-time production activity.
- Identify and correct discrepancies in inventory builds or system data before they impact downstream departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the President.
