CNC Operator; Mazak

Position: CNC Operator (Mazak)

The CNC Operator/ Mazak Lathe Operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting and operating the CNC, Mazak Lathe machines.

Essential Functions:

Read blueprints and job instructions to ensure machined parts meet production specifications.

• Set-up, adjust and operate CNC , Mazak Lathe machinery

Competencies:

• Knowledge of G&M codes
• Knowledge of Mazatrol
• Ability to use measurement and inspection tools

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Work Environment: (the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the persons working conditions while performing the job)

• Manufacturing plant environment
• High noise level ear protection required in area

Required education and experience: (education and experience based on requirements that are job-related and consistent with business necessity)

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• One year of CNC Lathe experience

Preferred education and experience: (preferred education and experience based on requirements that are job related and consistent with business necessity)

• High school diploma or GED
