In the Assembler role, you will be responsible for building finished products by starting from individual components. Qualifications- Possession of a GED or high school diploma.
- Completion of a two-year electronics degree or a comparable combination of training and professional experience.
- At least one year of hands-on assembly experience involving avionics hardware like inverters, batteries, and pressure gauges.
- Proficiency in operating various hand tools and electronic diagnostic devices to ensure equipment quality.
- A proven grasp of digital and analog electronics principles.
- A high level of focus on minute details.
- A disciplined, organized, and goal-driven approach to your work.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to help the team overcome technical challenges.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with PCB soldering is a plus, though we are happy to provide training if you do not have this skill.
- Assemble complex electronic systems and parts, including tasks like troubleshooting, component replacement, and de-soldering.
- Execute final performance evaluations on a diverse range of electronic instruments.
- Maintain accurate manufacturing records and shop documentation to support team reporting requirements.
- Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and assembly drawings to guide your workflow.
- Ability to handle repetitive motions throughout the day.
- Strong eye-hand coordination to maintain high assembly standards.
- Capability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
- Consistent manual dexterity for the handling and manipulation of tiny components.
- Frequent operation of precision hand tools, including wire cutters, tweezers, and screwdrivers.
