Job PurposeIn this role, you will be responsible for coordinating industrial responsibilities related to supply chain management, inventory management and manufacturing operating plans.
Key Responsibilities- Plans, schedules, and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers, both direct and indirect.
- Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering.
- Compiles data and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements and indirect material budget projections.
- Oversees the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department priorities.
- Develops policies and procedures to ensure timely flow of materials and for tracking the physical inventory.
- Develops specifications for new and changed contract orders. Other related duties as assigned.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or other technical discipline plus 5 or more years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or materials analysis OR High School Diploma/GED plus 10 or more years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or materials analysis
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working with an ERP system and SAP Advanced PC skills to include MS Office suite World Class Manufacturing/Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement experience
- Experience in an OEM vehicle environment is a plus Strong technical skills and aptitude Experience working with cross functional teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The annual salary for this role is USD $63,750.00 - $85,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
