Painter II

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Painter II to join their team. As a Painter II, you will be part of the production department supporting the painting and finishing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $24.47-$25.22 per hour

** Shift: 1st and
** 3rd shift available

** What's the Job?*
* + Apply paint to parts and assemblies to meet required quality and finish specifications

+ Maintain equipment in a touch-up booth and determine the appropriate rework methods to ensure quality standards

+ Perform coating repairs using hand tools and techniques, ensuring proper touch-up painting procedures

+ Apply top coat paints on parts previously painted while still in the wet coating stage, ensuring flawless finishes

+ Help maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines

** What's Needed?*
* + High School Diploma or GED

+ At least 2 years of experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment

+ Over 1 year of experience operating painting equipment or working on paint lines

+ Proven ability in proper touch-up techniques

+ Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions, memos, and correspondence; proficient with computers and software

+ Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform job duties safely and effectively
