Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and assembly, is seeking an Assembly Worker II to join their team. As an Assembly Worker II, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly and testing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembly Worker II Location: Wichita, KS Pay Range: $23.22 Shift: 1st Shift (7am - 3pm) What's the Job?- Perform wiring, assembly, finishing, welding, and testing operations on company products.
- Work from engineering specifications, sketches, schematic diagrams, verbal instructions, or detailed assembly drawings.
- Set-up and arc weld parts, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies, ensuring proper fitting, aligning, and adjusting for optimal function.
- Utilize assembly tools, electrical measuring and test equipment, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Inspect parts, maintain quality standards, and document work processes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Basic knowledge of electrical practices and assembly techniques.
- Flexibility to work OT as needed to meet production demands.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to follow safety rules and maintain a clean work environment.
