Community Organizer

Justice Together is a coalition of over 40 faith‑based organizations in Sedgwick County united to address justice issues through a multi-faith effort. Drawing inspiration from scripture and emphasizing the values of justice and community, Justice Together strives to create a collective impact. The organization envisions a society rooted in fairness and equity by motivating people of faith to work collaboratively. Justice Together is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities to take meaningful action toward systemic change.

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Community Organizer located in Wichita, KS. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include building relationships with individuals and faith organizations to engage them in justice initiatives. The role also involves organizing and conducting events, leading community outreach programs, and working with diverse groups to advance collective goals. The Community Organizer will develop strategies to address local challenges and collaborate with stakeholders to drive meaningful change.

• Strong Community Engagement and Community Organizing skills
• Proven experience in Community Outreach and relationship building with diverse groups
• Event Planning and organizing skills to coordinate justice‑focused events and programs
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively and inspire collective action
• Passion for social justice and alignment with Justice Together’s mission
• Prior experience in nonprofit or faith‑based community organizing is a plus
