The Assistant Pastor/ Pastor of Discipleship and Family Ministries is called to the pastoral team's leadership of Eastminster in fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) by developing a culture of disciple making, evangelism, and spiritual formation. The particular focus of this role is providing direct pastoral oversight of a) Eastminster's ministries with young adults, children, youth and their families, and b) Eastminster staff members and volunteers serving those ministries.

This role further helps lead strategic alignment of church ministries, so that the congregation as a whole - including our family ministries - grow in maturity, unity, and gospel outreach.

• Master of Divinity (preferred), Master of Biblical Studies, Master of Theological Studies, or equivalent theological training; ordainable or working toward ordination within the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
• Minimum 3 years of ministry leadership experience (staff role preferred); experience with supervision of volunteers (necessary); staff supervision (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in discipleship, evangelism, and developing leaders.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
• Alignment with Eastminster's theological convictions and mission.
