Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with departmental requirements and state regulations. Working with medical providers and the care team, you will offer personalized, compassionate care following our standard nursing model: "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." As an advocate for patients and families, you will ensure exceptional patient experience and positive outcomes.
- Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each shift, promptly identify and report any changes in status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and document care administration thoroughly and in a timely manner. Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action if an undesired response occurs.
- Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate patient needs proactively, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology into clear explanations.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) or RN Diploma.
