Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Trauma ICU position requiring a KS or compact RN license and advanced certifications.

• Position is in a 20-bed Neuro Trauma ICU within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Care for neurological and trauma patients requiring intensive monitoring
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Every other weekend is required
• Duties include managing critical neuro and trauma patients in a high-acuity environment
• Team-oriented ICU environment with support during orientation
• Must work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule
• COVID-19 vaccine is not required
• Radius rule applies for local candidates, who may receive reduced rates depending on distance
• Scrubs required as per hospital policy

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Completion of CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or MOAB De-Escalation Course prior to start; onsite course completion during orientation
• Nursys verification needed within 30 days before start
• Must provide US Social Security Number and valid US home address
