Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are looking for an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full‑time, temporary contract opportunity with Yoh’s well‑known client located in Wichita, KS. The position is anticipated to run until April 10th, with the potential for extension or temp‑to‑hire.

This is a busy clinic seeing about 14–20 patients a day (both in person and telehealth visits). They offer occupational and preventative care services for employees of a large corporation (mostly ages 18+ with occasional high school interns, 16+).

Shifts: Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

• Active/unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ANP) or Certified Physician Assistant (PA‑C) license in the state of Kansas
• DEA registration
• Minimum (3) years’ experience as a provider
• Preferred experience in Occupational/Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Corrections, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice type setting

• Assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
• Provide first‑aid medical treatment
• Administer trigger‑point medications, immunizations, and travel vaccines
• Perform onsite physical assessments (pre‑placement, return‑to‑work, fitness‑for‑duty)
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices
• Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Provide onsite testing for strep pharyngitis, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia

• Nationally Certified (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA)
• Current BLS/CPR (hands‑on courses only – no online accepted)
• NPI
• Computer skills with previous experience using EMR (OHM a huge plus)
• Yearly TB Test or Quanti
