Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

needed for a full-time, temp contract opportunity with Yoh's well-known client located in Wichita, KS. Anticipating at least until April 10th with potential for extension/temp-to-hire!!

This is a busier clinic seeing about 14-20 patients a day (both in person and telehealth visits). They offer occupational and preventative care services for employees of a large corporation (mainly ages 18+ with occasional high school intern, 16+).

SHIFTS:

Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm

• Active/unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ANP) or Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in state of Kansas
• DEA
• Minimum (3) years' experience as a provider
• Preferred experience in:
  Occupational/Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Corrections, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice type setting

• Assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
• Provide first-aid medical treatment
• Trigger point meds, immunizations, and travel vaccines
• Perform onsite physical assessments (pre-placement, return-to-work, fitness-for-duty)
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices
• Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Provide onsite testing for strep pharyngitis, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia

• Nationally Certified (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA)
• Current BLS/CPR (hands on courses only - no online accepted)
• NPI
• Computer skills with previous experience using EMR (OHM a huge plus!)
• Yearly TB Test or Quanti

• Interpersonal skills necessary to interview, teach and counsel patients and interact with clients/employers
