As a Registered Nurse specializing in long-term care and skilled nursing, your expertise in LTC, SNF, post-acute or respiratory care will help elevate the quality of life for our residents.
- Deliver top tier nursing care, including medication administration and treatment plans.
- Provide critical oversight for post-acute and respiratory care programs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement resident care plans.
- Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions with precision and professionalism.
- Educate and support nursing team members, fostering skill growth and resident-centered care.
- A current RN license in good standing.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience (preferably in long-term care).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A team-first mindset and passion for working with older adults.
- Experience with care planning, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Point Click Care or similar platforms).
- Experience in staff development or clinical training.
- A background in rehabilitative/restorative care.
- A heart for service and a desire to mentor others.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
- May be exposed to infectious diseases, blood borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, and unpleasant odors in a healthcare environment.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- Compliance with hand hygiene, infection prevention, and safety protocols.
- Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) for charting and reporting.
- Comfortable with computers, including basic email, word processing, and data entry.
- Ability to learn and navigate facility-specific software for scheduling, incident reporting, and medication tracking.
