Position: Registered Nurse (RN), On Call 7 On 7 Off Hospice

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our On Call 7 On 7 Off Hospice team.

In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with providing quality nursing care in a hospice environment, delivering support and comfort to patients during their most vulnerable times.

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate nursing care to hospice patients in accordance with individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient health status and record vital signs, symptoms, and any changes in patient condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and support services.
  • Educate patients and families on care processes, symptom management, and end-of-life planning.
  • Respond to on-call duties promptly, ensuring compassionate and timely care for patients in need.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and uphold high standards of care.
  • Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or palliative care.
  • Strong understanding of hospice care principles and compassionate patient interaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in high‑pressure situations.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technology tools.
