Infection Prevention Nurse | RN
As an Infection Prevention Nurse, you are responsible for conducting rounds, discussing and monitoring infection prevention practices with staff members, collecting infection data from departments, maintaining records for each case of healthcare‑associated infection, conducting outbreak investigations, training staff members on implementation of infection prevention practices, investigating incidents of infections and reporting such incidents to the appropriate person/department, and ensuring availability of supplies required for infection prevention activities.
Qualifications- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Must have an active, in good standing, Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Prior experience as an RN in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
- One year of prior experience providing specialized treatments in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
- Prior Infection Control experience required
- Infection Control certification preferred
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
