Day Shift 1 charge, up to 6 nurses (mix of RNs and LPNs), up to 3 patient care technicians (nursing assistants), 1 unit clerk Night Shift 1 charge, up to 6 nurses (mix of RNs and LPNs), up to 3 patient care technicians (nursing assistants) Patient Ratios When not staffed with LPN teams: 1 RN to 6-7 patients; when staffed as LPN team model: 1 nurse to 5-6 patients
