The Advance Practice Provider (APP) (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) plays a key role in delivering high-quality patient care as part of an experienced team including physicians and nurses.
The APP assesses, diagnoses, monitors, and manages patients using advanced clinical skills in collaboration with their supervising physician.
Responsibilities and Qualifications- Education:
Post Graduate Degree, APP or PA licensure, BLS, ACLS - Experience:
None required - Skills:
Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, analytical, computer proficiency (Excel, Medical Records), reading/comprehension, following instructions - Mental/Emotional:
Manage stress, make decisions under pressure, handle multiple priorities, work independently and in confined/crowded areas - Working Conditions:
Exposure to blood, body fluids, communicable diseases, CRT monitor - Physical Requirements:
Medium work, prolonged sitting, standing, walking, repetitive motions, good manual dexterity, vision, and coordination
