Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Wichita, Kansas

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care for laboring and postpartum patients within an LDRP setting, maintaining patient ratios of 1–2:1 for labor and 3–4:1 for postpartum
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, NSTs, and circumcisions
• Utilize GE fetal monitoring, Monica Novii, and Alaris pumps; document accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Perform bedside shift report, utilize communication boards, and participate in nurse leader rounding to support high patient experience standards
• Actively support labor positioning and management techniques, including active positioning and continuity of care from labor through postpartum
• Float within Women's units as needed per staffing policy

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Labor & Delivery experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM) certification

• OR circulating experience within an obstetric setting
• Experience with labor positioning techniques, including Spinning Babies methodology
• Demonstrated experience managing OB emergencies

• Work within a dedicated birth center environment that emphasizes 1:1 labor support, a low cesarean section rate, strong teamwork, and a birthing-center experience with continuity of care from labor through postpartum
