Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & ER, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Acute Care unit. This role offers competitive pay, advanced training opportunities, and support for professional growth.

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with standards of care defined by Wesley Medical Center.
• Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through participation in quality of care activities to initiate, implement, and sustain process improvements.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge in nursing practice and education.
• Monitor patients’ progress toward attainment of outcomes.
• Contribute to the professional development of peers, colleagues, and others.
• Collaborate with patients, significant others, and health care providers in delivering and advocating for patient care.

• Demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge of age-appropriate competencies to department-specific population.
• Use critical thinking and problem solving to identify, interpret, and access appropriate resources in patient-specific scenarios.
• Secure, administer, and handle medication according to established guidelines.
• Gain specialized expertise in cardiac rhythm interpretation and the management of high-acuity patients through comprehensive telemetry certification and hands‑on clinical training.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse license (RN) with active credentials.
• Registered Nurse Diploma or equivalent.
