Rolling Hills Health and Rehab in Wichita, KS is looking to hire PRN, Part-Time and Full‑Time NIGHT Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN/LVN)As a Licensed Practical Nurse you provide total care for our residents. You monitor patients closely, administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, enforce narcotic policies, observe for side effects, and report any changes in condition. You also supervise nursing assistant‑registered staff to ensure resident care plans are followed.
You document care, admit and discharge residents, and report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect. You maintain confidentiality and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements, upholding facility policies and procedures. Your warm, friendly demeanor facilitates excellent customer service and builds relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN/LVN)- LPN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
- Desire to work with the elderly
- Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required
This PRN, Part‑Time and Full‑Time Licensed Practical Nurse position works 12‑hour shifts on a typical 6‑6 rotation schedule, including weekends and holidays.
